The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Museum is the preeminent place to discover the history, culture and art of the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico. Our permanent collection houses more than 2,000 rare artifacts, including a world renowned collection of historic and contemporary Pueblo pottery that features works by legendary 20th-century potters Maria Martinez of San Ildefonso, Lucy M. Lewis of Acoma and PablitaVelarde of Santa Clara. This outstanding collection also includes baskets, weaving, painting, murals, jewelry and photographs. Our museum galleries also host an exciting schedule of rotating exhibitions, with most shows focusing on Pueblo art and culture.

The museum is a leading educator in the field of Pueblo history and culture, with unique programs for children and adults. We offer interactive programming in our Pueblo House where children receive a hands-on introduction to the traditional art, cooking and storytelling of Pueblo culture. The museum also houses a library and archive with thousands of rare documents and books related to the 19 Pueblos and the Southwest.
